Phase One: Re-entry For Our Girls

CORRAL girl and rescue horse

As you know, our farms have been physically closed to staff, volunteers, and even the girls since the middle of March. While we have been providing full services to our girls in a virtual space, our girls desperately need their safe space back at the farm for in-person therapy and tutoring.

We are in the process of formulating a phased COVID-19 re-entry plan for returning to the farm in compliance with the state and CDC guidelines. This re-entry plan will start off with Phase One, which is focused on our girls returning to the farm for one-on-one and much-needed equine-assisted psychotherapy and tutoring sessions with our programming staff. This re-entry plan includes a very strict sanitizing requirement to maintain safety for the girls and for our staff. This is where you come in! We need donations of cleaning supplies and masks. Will you help?

You have the option to drop off the items in person at either of our locations, depending on which is closer to you. If purchasing items online, you can have them shipped directly to either location. See directions below:

Directions for in-person drop-off to Kildaire Farm Location (Cary): 3620 Kildaire Farm Rd. Cary, NC 27518

  • Please put the items in a bag or a box with your full name on it, so that we know who to thank later.
  • No one will be in the office, but simply place the items on the back patio of the office building, and we will have staff move them inside.
  • You can drop the items to the farm at your convenience over the next 5-7 days starting this weekend.

Directions for in-person drop-off to Neuse River Farm Location (Raleigh): 2436 Neusehill Dr. Raleigh, NC 27610

  • Please put the items in a bag or a box with your full name on it, so that we know who to thank later.
  • No one will be in the office, but simply leave your package in front of the Red Shed on the left of our little barn house.  (Note: If you drive into the cul de sac/round-a-bout and hit the white house at the end of the road, you’ve gone too far!)
  • You can drop the items to the farm at your convenience over the next 5-7 days starting this weekend.

Lastly, our girls could sure use a pick-me-up in this trying season. If you feel called, would you write a note to some of our girls to uplift and encourage them to not give up during these tough times? Let them know you are thinking of them and praying for them. Sometimes all people need is a little boost of encouragement to hold on a little longer. You can drop those off at the farm or mail them with your packages.

We pray that God continues to smile on you and bless you tremendously for being a ray of sunshine to CORRAL and to the girls we serve. Volunteers, stay tuned for the next few phases. We can’t wait to have you back on the farm. Thank you for standing alongside us throughout this difficult season!
