Non Profit Management/Business Internship
Learn more...What you’ll do:
CRM Management

- Ensures that important data is represented appropriately in the database
- Create and manage reporting
- Customize the platform to CORRAL’s needs
Office Management

- Manages CORRAL’s office procurement procedures along with office organizational systems
Volunteer Management
-
- Provides support in planning engaging events and trainings for CORRAL’s volunteers
- Helps with volunteer communication and management
Finance
-
- Assists with various financial tasks including the processing of donations, expense management & reporting

Communications & Marketing Internship

Social Media

- Manage CORRAL’s Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn accounts — engage followers at least 3xs per week
- Assist in gathering appropriate content for all accounts
Marketing & Communication

- Contribute to the creation of email campaigns
- Partner with Director of Marketing to run fundraising campaigns
- Represent CORRAL at various events such as volunteer fairs, referral meetings, and fundraisers
- Facilitate the on-time completion of projects within our Marketing Committee
Program Management

- Assist as a tutor during programming
- Attend staff team meetings
- Collaborate with student interns on various projects

Programming Internship
Learn more...What you’ll do:

- Plan and execute activities both within and outside of programming for participants (ie: horse shows, extra activities, incentives)
- Assist during programming either in the riding arena or as a tutor
- Lead participant check-in
- Perform various administrative tasks to ensure program effectiveness
- Liaise between CORRAL & community partners
- Collaborate with programming staff to create effective intervention plans for program participants
Desired/preferred qualifications
-
- Experience working with high-risk youth
- Relevant course experience (Psychology, Program Management, etc.)
Internship Schedule
Programming interns typically work Saturdays 8:30am–5pm, and work 10–15 additional hours between 11am–7pm Tuesday–Thursday and 10am–4pm on Fridays. Please contact lauren.clements@corralriding.org for position at Raleigh farm and camille.brown@corralriding.org at Cary farm.
Equine Internship
Learn more...What you’ll do:
Manage herd health of 10 rescued horses

- Coordinate training and grooming calendar
- Assess and cares for medical needs, both routine and emergency
Assist Equine Director in field management

- Ensure proper rotational grazing of horse herd
- Administer and responds to soil samples
Oversee organization and management of barn including horse tack and supplies

- Seek donations of needed items
- Serve as liaison with horse community to best serve the needs of the horses and farm
Project management

- Coordinate task list of Horse & Farm Volunteers and communicates farm needs to volunteers
Desired/preferred qualifications

- Natural Horsemanship experience
- Interest in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy
- Business related coursework
Internship schedule

Graphic Design Internship
Learn more...What you’ll do:
Assist Creative Manager with:
-
- Executing print and digital graphics (usually based on existing designs)
- Editing email layouts in Pardot email marketing software
- Providing creative ideas for projects
Desired/preferred qualifications
-
- 1 to 2 years as part of a graphic design program at an accredited college or university
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud apps, especially Photoshop, InDesign, & Illustrator
- Knowledge of formatting for digital platforms (including social media)
- Knowledge of print process
- Keen understanding of great design and current design trends
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and detail oriented
- Quick learner and efficient
- Passion for furthering our mission through great design and communication while adhering to our current brand standards
- Knowledge of WordPress
- Familiar with HTML/CSS
Internship schedule
Graphic design interns typically work 10–15 hours a week, with most work being done remotely and preferred attendance at the farm on Friday mornings from 9:30a–12:30p to attend meetings and meet with the Creative Manager. Contact alison@corralriding.org for more information and to apply.
