Becoming a Volunteer

It’s as easy as 1-2-3. Attend one of our first-timer events below. Sign up for our volunteer orientation. Choose a committee on which to serve. There you have it! After attending one of the below events, you’ll be able to register for our volunteer orientation which will guide you through getting involved in one of our committees. Current committees include Board Governance, Development, Event Planning, Public Engagement, Horse & Farm and Education. These committees will work together to do the work of the organization while providing you support and community as a volunteer.

First-Timer Volunteer Events

Farm Days give you a better understanding of the farm, the learning environment and the program as a whole. We hold them almost every month and they’re a great way to serve as group or family! Sign up for a tour of the farm and/or plan to spend the morning volunteering alongside other volunteers. The decision is yours.

Enjoy a quiet morning on the farm with a Farm Breakfast and a cup of coffee. Breakfast on the Farm is followed by a 45-minute tour of the farm and an explanation of the program and how to become involved. Families are welcome. This is a great way to learn about CORRAL before the hustle of the weekend takes off.

Join us for an evening of Jockeys, Juleps & Jazz at our annual Derby Dinner, a Kentucky Derby themed fundraising dinner. This gala is the perfect time for current CORRAL Champions to invite their friends who share a heart for the cause to a lovely evening where they’ll learn all about CORRAL, the impact that is happening on the farm and how they can join in too. Derby hats and bow ties recommended!
