Stella was an athlete, competing with her owner in eventing – an equestrian sport comprised of three different event categories (cross country, dressage, and show jumping). When her owner went to college, Stella transitioned into a new career. She become a lesson horse at a barn in Johnston County, helping new people learn how to ride and build their horsemanship skills. Eventually the lesson program ended and she needed a new home. We’re so grateful Stella was donated to CORRAL!
We’re still getting to know Stella. What we love about her is her drive to connect. She loves spending time with people and her horse friends. This summer, Stella enjoyed working with Join the Herd. It’s exciting to see her step into her third career as a therapy horse. We are looking forward to seeing her grow alongside our students.
