CRAFTING CHANGE ART GALLERY
October 7th, 7 PM – 9 PM
3620 Kildaire Farm, Cary, NC 27518
Crafting Change is an organization of creatives whose goal is to combine activism and craft to create meaningful change. Their gallery show in the Kildaire barn will showcase their work. Proceeds from art sales will benefit CORRAL programs.
Saturday Service Days
At CORRAL’s Saturday Service Days, you’ll learn about our mission and programs then join us in a morning of fun hands-on projects that support our farms and students!
We host one open service day each month from 9:30-noon, alternating between our two farms to give you the opportunity to see more of the horses, people, and places that make a difference for our teens.
Registration is required.
What to wear/bring
Please come dressed in closed-toe farm shoes/boots. We also encourage you to bring work gloves and a water bottle. Our work will be outdoors, so layers, long pants, and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty are always a good choice.
Youth volunteering
We love having kids and families out on the farm! Volunteers under 18 years of age must register and attend with a caregiver. We are unable to accommodate youth volunteers on a drop-off basis. We are happy to sign off on community service sheets during or after the event.
Group volunteering
We love it when folks bring their crew to CORRAL! If you plan to volunteer as a group (5+ people with a shared organizational affiliation) email volunteer@corralriding.org so we can hook you up with a dedicated registration link. If you’re interested in scheduling a weekday corporate / organization volunteer event, contact Community Outreach Manager Laila Payton at laila@corralriding.org.
Want to learn more about individual volunteer opportunities with CORRAL?
Take our Volunteer 101 course for a closer look at our mission, programs, and volunteer roles at both farms.
