We need you to gallop down to our annual Derby Dinner at North Carolina State University’s Talley Student Union May 5 from 6–9:30 p.m. For the seventh time, we look forward to seeing you at our signature fundraiser; while the location’s new, the good food, great company and awesome goal are the same!
Bet on Bright Futures
Derby Dinner is your opportunity to place your bets on the bright futures of our CORRAL girls! With proceeds from the dinner, we’ll be able to support twenty girls in our Riding Academy for the upcoming school year. And let’s be clear, all of them are winners!
Your support helps 20 girls spend 11 hours weekly at CORRAL, every week, all year long. It provides for holistic intervention for each girl, that’s mentorship, psychotherapy, college prep work, academic support. Your support transforms lives!
Race Conditions?
Through our Derby Dinner we’re asking you for your help reaching those in our community who care about marginalized girls and who have the potential to help CORRAL and our girls. We’re going to ask you to share the word about our work and our needs. And, as we’ve said many times, Derby Dinner is one of two annual fundraisers, but we promise we won’t make you feel uncomfortable with a hard ask.
Why Attend?
Here’s why. You’ll see our awesome girls. You’ll hear about our tremendous results. You’ll listen to the impact CORRAL is having in girls’ lives. You’ll be impressed with our college graduates who will talk about how far they’ve come since the day the entered CORRAL. You’ll identify opportunities to support our mission. Bring your tissues; in past years, there’s been nary a dry eye!
You’ll also share a meal, drink and a joy-filled evening with passionate community supporters like yourself. Oh, and you’ll see beautiful hats — so wear yours!
